Optimizer® Enterprise is the ideal solution for monitoring and controlling application performance for IP networks.
Applications such as voice, video, thin client and P2P have greatly increased enterprise bandwidth requirements. Costly network upgrades are not always the answer as limited network visibility exists and applications are not prioritised and managed. The Optimizer® provides detailed application discovery and performance monitoring while guaranteeing QoS and managing bandwidth. Equipped with network compression it increases effective WAN capacity and further enhances performance through selective flow compression.
Optimizer® transparently plugs into your network to automatically discover and control bandwidth resources on your LAN or WAN. Optimizer® exposes applications that draw the most or least from your network, as well as users or viruses that consume bandwidth at alarming rates. Application performance statistics are collected over time and plotted to provide key performance characteristics and to optimize how bandwidth is being used. Statistics can be stored on the Optimizer® for up to two years for the purposes of trend analysis and capacity planning. Alternatively raw statistics can be integrated into external enterprise accounting systems.
